Your role as the R&D Specialist / Electronic development

You develop and test Logmore’s hardware platforms and products together with the Logmore R&D team. The responsibility area covers product development, Logmore electronic device type testing, and transferring designs to manufacturing.

The R&D Specialist / Electronic developer is part of Logmore’s Hardware Development team and will be responsible for testing and approving the electronics and functionality of a given product. In this role, the R&D Specialist / Electronics Developer will contribute to the requirement specification, test electronics, analyze the product design, and review and transfer plans to the production line according to an ISO9001-compliant hardware development process.

What will you be doing

• Support the development team and test electronics design based on the product requirements
• Review and source electronics BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Review PCB (Printed Circuit Board) files
• Design production testing, EMC/ESD, and environmental testing
• Design sensor calibration methods and devices
• Analyze electronic faults and error root causes

• Electronics soldering and measuring experience
• Technical education from the electronic/measuring/maintenance area
• Previous work experiment is not mandatory
• Basic electronic manufacturing process understanding
• Ability to test and analyze electronics and transfer that knowledge to production
• Experience with PADS or other electronic CAD is a nice bonus
